A rainstick is a long, hollow wooden tube partially filled with small pebbles or beans. When the stick is upended, the pebbles fall to the other end of the tube, making a sound similar to rain falling.

This beautifully handcrafted axe is made by Mexican artisans who inherited the knowledge from their ancestors.

Creativity has led the artisans to express the prehispanic heritage into new forms that are of great interest and appreciation of domestic and foreign tourists.
